Montreal native alt-pop singer/model/actress Kayla DiVenere’s new single, “Small Talk” is out now. Created with producer Jordan Witzigreuter (The Ready Set) and fellow songwriters Maia Kelly and Zach DeGaetano, “Small Talk” is the story of secretly crushing on your brother’s best friend. Of “Small Talk,” DiVenere says she created it out of her desire to have more than a fleeting five-minute conversation with her crush.
“My imagination ran wild, and I found myself aching for something like a John Hughes romance movie about a secret love, complete with a boombox outside my window and a mixtape of his favorite songs,” Kayla DiVenere says about the creation of “Small Talk.”
